What makes our team so unique?
With our current 12 experts (not all experts are on the photo), we have evolved from a traditional tax consulting firm with a history of more than 40 years into a digital tax consulting firm that supports and advises national and international clients personally and individually in their daily tax and financial tasks.
Thomas Wirtz
Managing DirectorThomas Wirtz has been the owner of the firm since 2019. Previously, he worked for more than 18 years at EY (Ernst & Young) as a management consultant, most recently as Partner/Director, with stints in Indonesia, Australia and Kazakhstan. Thomas is particularly interested in tax and financial consulting for companies and individuals as well as the digitalization of accounting processes. Thomas speaks German and fluent English.
Monika Wirth
Tax ConsultantMonika Wirth joined s&w in May 2019 and acts as a consultant for international clients in the areas of financial accounting and special tax topics. Prior to joining s&w, Monika held senior positions at Brenntag in the US, abcbank and Deloitte. Monika is fluent in German and English in addition to her native Polish.
Beate Windhausen
Payroll AccountantBeate Windhausen has worked as a payroll accountant at s&w for over 27 years. She really is always up to date, both professionally and digitally. In addition, as Head of Payroll I Human Resources, Beate is also involved in recruiting processes.
Stefanie Klitzen
AccountantStefanie Klitzen has been working part-time at s&w since 2019 and supports mostly medium-sized clients in financial accounting, as well as in the preparation of private tax returns. For Stefanie, the focus is on the customer and the team. In doing so, she brings a wealth of expertise and an extraordinary interest in new tax topics.
Roman Pogreban
Assistant Tax ConsultantRoman Pogreban has been working as a tax specialist at s&w since October 2021. As one of the year's best and a former Judo Bundesliga professional, he is performance-oriented and a true team player. Roman was previously employed by a medium-sized tax firm. He speaks fluent German and Russian as his native language.
Neda Farahani
Tax AssistantNeda Farahani has been working as a tax assistant at s&w since August 2024. With more than five years of professional experience and a solution-oriented approach, she is the perfect fit for our firm. Neda is fluent in German and her mother tongue is Farsi.
Paulina Smolka
SecretariatPaulina Baron has been working as Executive Assistant and passionate blogger at s&w since January 2023 and since August 2024 as trainee. In the context of digitalization, she is taking on an important role. Paulina speaks fluent German and English in addition to her native Polish.
Angelika Kehren
AccountantAngelika Kehren has an impressive 27-year history with s&w behind her. Although she is already in well-deserved retirement, she still provides valuable accounting support to the s&w team. In addition, Angelika's pleasant personality is appreciated by everyone in the s&w team, and she occasionally brings in mince pies that are a delight for everyone.
Dorine Stutzinger
AccountantDorine Stutzinger joined the s&w team in October 2023. She previously worked as an accountant at TOTO Germany GmbH since 2011 and had previously worked in the quality control department at Nokia Phones Bochum for over 10 years. She has extensive experience from her work in the group and is characterized by an exceptional commitment.
Naomi Kaneko
Japan DeskNaomi Kaneko expanded s&w's Japanese desk in October 2023. Previously, she was Head of Financial Accounting and Executive Assistant at TOTO Germany GmbH. Prior to that, she worked in various positions, including editor for a Japanese trade magazine. Naomi recently successfully completed her accountant's exam and is native Japanese and fluent in German and English.
Stefanie Philipp
PayrollStefanie Philipp joined the s&w team in March 2024 and supports clients with her expertise in payroll accounting. Before joining s&w, Stefanie worked in a medium-sized chain retail business and brings extensive experience to the team.
Nelly
People Relationship ManagerNelly has been with s&w since mid-2022 and is a calming influence in our team and always keeps us in a good mood. She works only on Fridays in our office in Düsseldorf and sometimes also in Jüchen. Nelly is fluent in German, English and Chinese.
